Fields of Gold // Fall 2015

Fall in Germany

Delicious autumn!
My very soul is wedded to it,
and if I were a bird
I would fly about the earth
seeking the successive autumns.

Happy Wednesday.

Things that R E A L L Y bothered me this week.

What bothers you?

Normally we write about the things that made us really happy in the past week or so. Because there is so much to be happy about - being alive and healthy for one should be on top of your list of things that make you happy.

there are also things that bother us, that make us angry or mad and think about the why's, if's and what's. A few things this past week really bothered me and made me overthink things just a little more than usual (yes, I am an over thinker), so without further ado - here they are:

  • This co-worker of mine who is especially lazy and tries getting others to do his job. I just don't get how someone like that always gets away with it. Seriously
  • This constant talk about losing weight here and there, about the newest diet trends and how to shed those pounds in no time. The tracking of workouts, how many miles, how many reps, the calories burned? Just. Stop. It. I don't care!
  • This guy blocking the driveway to the parking lot at the grocery store, because he was talking to some passer by from his car. I had to wait forever to get passed him and then had to park in the last lot all the way down the lane, only to figure out that he had parked on the handicapped spot, even though he wasn't even handicapped (his brain obviously was) and then he gave me this devious grin as I passed him by in the veggie aisle.
  • I had to get an x-ray of my spine, because I fell really hard the other day and hurt my tailbone - the doc wanted to make sure nothing was broken, because I had been in so much pain ever since. The x-ray nurse took forever to position my pelvis correctly. This other doctor was watching her and then mumbled something like, it was harder to position someone like me, because of the overweight. Well thank you - I just lost 15 pounds a$%hole!

So, there you have it - some serious shit hit the fan this past week. No worries though, I brushed it off and am doing just fine - even more after writing it all down. Sorry if any of this seems offensive.

Hope your week was better and you had to face nothing but good and positive things (like that ever happens, right), make the best of it!

Summer of 2015 // #zangvacay

Somehow this past summer just flew by and I don't even know how it happened. The last day of school turned into the last day of summer vacation in no time and now we are back to the daily grind as if it never happened.

Blogging has been one of the last things on my mind these past months - I was kind of burnt out in regards to my entire "online life" and so I put it on hold until I figured out how to move on. Being away by the Baltic Sea for a little over a week helped fuel my batteries and now that fall is finally here I feel more and more like myself again.

Summer 2015
Summer vacation by the sea was so much fun. There is just something about being by the water, sand between your toes and the sound of waves is all you can hear. We enjoyed every minute of it and I soaked up all the energy I could.

Summer 2015
Now that my favorite season of all is finally here, I am watching the changes nature has to offer on our daily walks and I am loving it. The leaves changing color, the crisp air and the wind blowing through my hair. I can finally wear my beloved scarves and cowls and my mind is overflowing with ideas for handmade Christmas gifts.

How have you all been? I must admit, although being offline has really helped me focus on life itself, I did miss you all one hell of a lot! Looking forward to re-connect with each and every one of you and slightly anticipating jumping in on 31 Days last minute.

Have a fab weekend - Hugs xxx
